Our journey began decades ago, laying the foundation for modern extrusion and slot die manufacturing. Through early iterations like Chippewa Valley Die Corporation, we gathered the finest machining and engineering minds in the Midwest.

By 2001, this core group established Premier Die Corporation. During this era, we were recognized globally as the premier die makers in the industry, legendary for our exceptional quality. We pioneered highly advanced, secret manufacturing techniques that nobody else in the world knew how to do. While some of those techniques are known today, major competitors still avoid them because they take too much time, or require a level of hand-crafted expertise that big corporations simply do not possess.

In 2012, Premier Die was acquired by a portfolio company of Bertram Capital to be absorbed by a massive competitor. Rather than letting our specialized skills be diluted, our core team of expert engineers and master machinists stepped away to found Precision Die Systems.
Today, Precision Die Systems carries forward that exact same unbroken legacy of elite craftsmanship. We do things the right way, not the fast way. That is why our custom-engineered slot dies and extrusion tools achieve tolerances and performance levels that the rest of the industry cannot match.
